When he had led them out to the vicinity of Bethany, he lifted up his hands and blessed them. While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up into heaven. Then they worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy. And they stayed continually at the temple, praising God. Luke 24:50-53

Being seated demonstrates that Jesus’s work was done. At the right hand is the position of greatest honour.
What a long way we’ve come since the announcement of a birth and the arrival of an infant 22 chapters ago. Will you and I be part of that glorious movement in this day?
One thing didn’t change over the 33 years of his life. Jesus was worshipped at His birth. He was worshipped as He was taken up to heaven.
Let us worship Him now.
King of Creation, Lord, Saviour, Master, Friend, I worship You. Amen
